Through-hole right-angle with board lock
The 2-178296-5 is the 6-circuit member of TE's Dynamic D-3100 header line, configured as a single-row shrouded header with a detent lock. It mounts through-hole right-angle with a board lock for reflow retention, mates with a tab contact, and carries a 250 V rating on tin-plated contacts.

The four-wall shrouding and detent lock protect the mating interface against misalignment and vibration — the board lock holds the header in place during wave solder, so the shroud stays square to the board edge.
Temperature range and flammability rating
The glass-filled thermoplastic polyester housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and supports an operating range from -55°C to 105°C.
