The TE Connectivity 2-179553-2 is a 2-position plug housing from the Dynamic D-3200 series, built for wire-to-board or wire-to-wire power interconnects in industrial control cabinets, automation panels, and power distribution assemblies. The housing accepts male pin contacts (sold separately) and mates with the corresponding Dynamic D-3200 receptacle header. A polarizing key prevents cross-mating in multi-connector panels — the lever clicks or it leaks, as the saying goes on the floor.
Panel Mount and Termination
Panel-mount design with crimp termination — the housing snaps into a panel cutout and the contacts are crimped onto the wire ends before insertion. Black colour is standard for the series. Contacts are NOT included in this order — you need to source the matching Dynamic D-3200 male crimp terminals separately (TE part numbers 1-929939-1 or similar, depending on wire gauge).
