Terminal fit and what to order alongside it
The 2-179553-4 accepts male pin crimp terminals (Dynamic D-3000 series) that are sold separately — the housing has no contacts in the bag. You should hear the terminal latch click into the cavity; the polarizing key on the housing body ensures the plug only mates one way with the matching receptacle, so a flipped harness gets caught before the pins touch. Panel mount ears let you bolt the housing through a chassis cutout, which takes the cable strain off the terminal locks.

This plug mates with the Dynamic D-3200 series receptacle housing (same 5.08mm pitch, 4 circuits). The polarizing key on the plug aligns with the keyway on the receptacle — no force-fit, no wrong-way insertion.
