Housing for a 6-Circuit Power Harness
The housing is free-hanging — no panel-mount ears — so it mates directly into a board-mounted header or a panel-mount receptacle. The polarizing key on the shroud prevents flipping or mismating, which matters when several similar housings share the same harness bundle.
What You Get and What You Don't
How It Sits in the Series
The Dynamic D-3200 series covers a range of circuit counts and mounting styles. The 2-179554-3 is the 6-position, 2-row, free-hanging plug. If you need the same 6 positions but with a panel-mount flange, the 2-179555-3 is the version with mounting ears — same pitch, same row spacing, same polarizing key, but the housing locks to a panel cutout instead of floating in the harness. For a single-row 3-position plug, the 2-179552-3 drops the second row and halves the circuit count. And if 6 positions are too few, the 12-position 2-179555-6 doubles the circuit count in the same 2-row, panel-mount format. The pitch and contact family stay the same across all of them, so the same crimp terminals and mating headers work across the series.
