20-Position Receptacle Housing for Dynamic D-1200 Harnesses
The TE Connectivity 2-1827864-0 is a 20-position receptacle housing from the Dynamic D-1200 series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board or wire-to-wire harness applications. It accepts female socket crimp contacts and mates with the corresponding Dynamic D-1200 male header. The glass-filled thermoplastic, polyester housing is rated for -55°C to 105°C operation.
Contacts Not Included — Order Crimp Terminals Separately
This housing ships without contacts. The female socket terminals for the Dynamic D-1200 series must be ordered separately and crimped onto the wire before insertion. The contact termination is crimp, so the assembly requires the correct TE crimp tool and the mating socket contact part number for the wire gauge in your harness.
Mating Half and Keying
The mating connector is a Dynamic D-1200 series male header (plug housing) with the same 2.50 mm pitch and 20-position, 2-row layout. The polarizing key in the housing prevents mis-mating with headers of different circuit counts or keying positions, which is useful when multiple similar connectors are in the same harness bundle.
