Product details

Dynamic D-1200 Receptacle Housing, 6 Circuits

The housing is free-hanging (in-line), mates with the corresponding Dynamic D-1200 pin header, and uses a latch lock that clicks home on full engagement — no secondary hardware needed. A polarizing key prevents mis-mating, which saves a harness builder from chasing a swapped circuit in the field.

You need the matching Dynamic D-1200 female crimp socket terminal, ordered separately. The housing accepts the standard D-1200 crimp contact, which terminates 16-20 AWG wire. Without the terminal part number in hand, a harness build stalls; make sure the BOM includes both the housing and the contacts before the wire cutter hits the bench.

Latch Lock and Polarizing Key — Field-Mate Reliability

The latch lock gives positive retention — you hear it seat, and it stays seated under vibration. The polarizing key on the housing ensures the plug and receptacle only mate one way, which matters when you're wiring a panel blind or replacing a connector in a tight cabinet.
