This receptacle mounts with a snap-in fit into a panel cutout — no screws or brackets, just push it in until the barbs seat. That's a common failure point on unlatched connectors in industrial gear: the plug walks out over time and you lose a circuit. The latch here prevents that. The housing accepts male pins terminated to wire via crimp, so you can re-pin it on site with a basic crimp tool if a terminal backs out.
Pitch and Position Count — What Fits the Board
At 24 positions across two rows on a 0.098" (2.50 mm) pitch, this housing mates with the standard Economy Power 2.5 header footprint. If your BOM calls for 24 circuits at this pitch, the footprint is fixed — no guesswork on whether a 20-position or 26-position housing will fit the board layout. The dual-row arrangement keeps the connector width manageable for a panel cutout.
