What this 5-position Grace Inertia header does
The 2-1971032-5 is a 5-position, single-row, through-hole header from TE's Grace Inertia (GIC) series. It mates with the matching Grace Inertia receptacle family using a latch holder that clicks home — no secondary lock needed.
The 5 positions on a 2.00 mm pitch give a board footprint of 0.079" per position. The contact length after the board is 0.102" (2.60 mm). The insulation height of 0.256" (6.50 mm) plus the mated receptacle height sets the total stack above the board — check your enclosure clearance against the mated pair drawing.
RoHS3 compliant. The housing is glass-filled PA66 rated UL94 V-0.
