SODIMM Socket for DDR3 Modules
The 2-2013311-1 is a 204-position SODIMM socket from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, designed for DDR3 SDRAM memory modules. It uses a reverse surface-mount orientation with a 25° angled insertion, allowing the memory module to be inserted at an angle and then rotated down for locking. The black housing includes board guides for alignment during assembly and latches to secure the module against vibration and shock. Contacts are finished with flash gold, providing reliable electrical connection for repeated mating cycles typical in memory sockets.
Board Fit and Clearance
With a height of 0.362" (9.20mm), this socket provides clearance for the SODIMM module above the PCB. The specified card thickness of 0.039" (1.00mm) ensures the memory module PCB fits the socket contacts correctly. Surface mount packaging (Tape & Reel or Cut Tape) supports automated assembly processes.
