Termination and Cable Fit
Termination is IDC — the ribbon cable is pressed into the dual-row slot, and the insulation displacement forks pierce each conductor simultaneously. The 0.059" (1.50mm) row spacing accommodates standard 0.050" pitch ribbon cable with 28-30 AWG conductors. The right-angle cable exit keeps the ribbon flat against the board, useful in tight enclosures where a straight vertical header would conflict with the lid or adjacent components.
