This housing accepts Dynamic D-1000 series female crimp socket contacts (not supplied). The crimp termination allows field-termination of discrete wires before insertion into the housing cavities. The latch holder on each side locks the housing to the mating header — listen for the click to confirm full engagement. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting style means no panel cutout is required; the housing floats in the harness and mates to a board-mounted header or a second in-line housing.
