Tin doesn't handle repeated mating cycles like gold does; if your design cycles the connector quarterly, expect the contact resistance to drift after a few dozen mates. For a one-time factory mate, tin is perfectly adequate. The kinked solder posts (0.118" / 3.00 mm long) give a mechanical lock in the plated through-hole before wave solder — the kink prevents the header from floating during the process.
