The 2-316081-5 is the 12-circuit member of TE's Dynamic D-3200 header line, a shrouded 4-wall design with detent lock and board lock features. It carries tin-plated mating contacts rated 600 V, mounts through-hole right-angle, and uses solder termination.

Shrouding and locking for vibration environments

The full 4-wall shroud and detent lock protect the mating interface from side-load and accidental disconnection — the board lock adds retention during soldering and against shear forces from the cable.
