Latch Lock and Keying — Vibration-Resistant Mating
The long eject hooks provide a positive latch lock that resists vibration-induced unmating — the hooks engage the mating receptacle's slots and require deliberate release. The keying slot on the header prevents insertion of an unkeyed receptacle, reducing mis-mate risk in multi-connector panels. Mounting flanges on each end allow screw-down attachment to the PCB for additional mechanical retention — useful in high-vibration environments or when the cable assembly is frequently disconnected.
