The header terminates via through-hole solder posts, 0.140" (3.56mm) long, suited for standard PCB thicknesses. For higher cycle life or harsh environments, gold-plated variants in the MTA-100 series are available.

Current rating depends on the wire gauge of the mating terminal; the header itself is not the current-limiting element.
