It accepts either male or female crimp contacts (sold separately) and terminates to discrete wires for free-hanging, in-line harness assemblies.
This housing accepts AMPMODU Mod IV crimp terminals — both male pin and female socket styles — allowing the same housing to serve as either a plug or receptacle half depending on the contact loaded. The free-hanging design suits harness runs where a board-mounted header is not present; the housing latches into the mating header's locking ramp for vibration-resistant retention.
