It is a free-hanging (in-line) connector with a 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch and a 0.300" (7.62mm) row spacing, designed for crimp termination. The housing is molded from black, glass-filled thermoplastic polyester and includes a polarizing key to prevent mis-mating. It accepts the separately ordered female socket crimp contacts — the housing ships empty, so the BOM must include the matching terminals and the correct crimp tool.
Where This Housing Fits in a Harness
This is a wire-to-board or wire-to-wire receptacle housing. In a typical harness build, it mates with a Dynamic D-3200 series header (through-hole or right-angle) to carry power or signal between a cable assembly and a PCB. The 5.08mm pitch and glass-filled housing suit it for industrial control cabinets, automotive underhood junctions, and appliance power distribution — anywhere a reliable, polarized, crimp-terminated interconnect is needed.
