16-circuit Metrimate header with 4-wall shrouding
The 207544-8 is the 16-circuit member of TE's Metrimate header line, a single-row shrouded header with 5.00 mm pitch and through-hole right-angle mounting. Tin-plated mating contacts carry 7.5 A at 600 V, and the 4-wall shrouding with latch holder protects the pins and retains the mating half.
The 5.00 mm pitch leaves generous routing lanes between pins on a single-layer board — no need for a dense fan-out. The 4-wall shroud with latch holder prevents mis-mating and resists vibration loosening in automotive or industrial enclosures.
