SMA In-Series Adapter, Straight Gender-Changer
The TE Connectivity 2081888-1 is a straight SMA in-series adapter converting an SMA jack, female socket to an SMA plug, male pin. It is a same-series gender-changer — you use it to extend an SMA line or reverse the gender at a bulkhead without changing the interface type. The 50 Ohm impedance matches standard 50 Ohm system impedance; the adapter is rated to 27 GHz, which covers the full SMA band through the upper end of the microwave range. The stainless steel body and PTFE dielectric give it the mechanical and electrical stability needed for repeated mate-and-demate cycles in test setups or field-installed links.

The body is stainless steel — passivated, not plated — so it resists corrosion. The dielectric is PTFE, which gives a stable dielectric constant across the temperature range. Centre contacts are beryllium copper with gold plating. Both ends use threaded fastening — SMA male and female threads.
