Plug Housing for Sealed Harness Applications
The 3.52 mm pitch provides a compact but serviceable contact spacing suited for moderate-density harness layouts in automotive, industrial, and outdoor equipment.
Sealed Construction with Terminal Position Assurance
This housing is listed as sealed, meaning it incorporates integral sealing features (typically a wire-seal interface and a mating-face seal) to meet IP ratings when mated with the correct receptacle and properly crimped terminals. The terminal position lock (TPA) is a secondary locking feature that slides into the housing after the contacts are inserted, locking each terminal in its cavity and preventing back-out under vibration or thermal cycling. For a harness builder, the TPA is a visual and mechanical confirmation that every circuit is fully seated before the connector leaves the assembly line.
The crimp termination style accepts the matching TE socket contact (typically the AMP sealed contact family for this pitch and wire range). When sourcing, add the correct terminal part number to the BOM; the housing alone cannot complete the circuit.
