Board-to-cable header for tight spots
Pitch, position count, and the footprint it drives
The surface-mount tails with through-board solder posts (SMT T/H) give it a hybrid hold: the SMT pads handle the signal, and the through-board posts add shear strength against cable yank. Solder retention is listed as a feature — that means the header has extra metal features (often barbs or tabs) that grip the PCB during reflow, reducing tombstoning and keeping the part aligned until the solder solidifies.
Active production — sourcing without EOL worry
The Mini CT series has a broad mating family (receptacles, crimp terminals), so confirm your mating half part number before committing.
