ELCON Micro 4-Position Receptacle Housing
The TE Connectivity 2204748-2 is a 4-circuit receptacle housing from the ELCON Micro series, designed for free-hanging inline wire-to-wire or wire-to-board harness applications where a compact, high-current interconnect is needed. This housing accepts female socket contacts terminated via crimp, and the contacts are not included — they must be ordered separately as a line item on the BOM.
Crimp Termination and Contact Selection
Because the housing ships without contacts, the build requires sourcing the matching ELCON Micro crimp terminals separately. The female socket contacts are crimped onto the wire before insertion into the housing cavity; the latch holder then retains the terminal in place.
