Sealed 6-Position Power Interconnect for Harsh Environments
The housing is rated for 20A per circuit at 400V, placing it firmly in the power distribution class rather than signal-level duty.
Sealing and Mounting — IP67 in a Panel Cutout
The IP67 rating is the headline feature here. To achieve that seal in a through-panel installation, the housing is designed for panel mounting — the gasket or O-ring seats against the panel face when the housing is bolted or clipped in. The buyer will need to confirm the panel cutout dimensions from the product drawing to ensure the seal compresses properly. The housing is keyed, which prevents mismating with the wrong receptacle in multi-connector installations. The keying is a mechanical polarisation feature, not an electrical one, but it saves a lot of field rework.
Termination and Contact Sourcing
This is a plug housing for socket contacts — it does not come with contacts. The termination method is crimp, so the buyer needs to source the matching Nector M socket contacts separately and crimp them onto the wire before inserting into the housing. The 20A rating per circuit means the contact and wire gauge must be sized accordingly; typical applications use 14-16 AWG stranded wire for that current level. The housing accepts the contacts with a positive retention latch, and the fully assembled plug then mates with the Nector M receptacle housing.
