Panel-Mount BNC Jack for Right-Angle PCB Routing
The 227161-9: It mounts through a panel cutout with a front-side nut and terminates to the PCB via right-angle solder tails, routing the coaxial signal 90° to the board edge. The kit includes the connector, a lockwasher, and the bulkhead nut, so the mounting hardware arrives with the part.
The 4 GHz maximum frequency is the practical ceiling for this BNC interface. For baseband video or instrumentation signals up to a few hundred MHz, it has ample headroom. The 500-cycle rating, backed by gold-on-phosphor-bronze centre contact, means it survives field-service reconnects without the contact wear you would see on a tin-plated BNC.
The bulkhead front-side nut clamps the connector to the panel; the included lockwasher prevents the nut from backing off under vibration.
