The 2.00 mm pitch determines which AMPMODU header mates with this housing and which crimp terminal loads into the cavities.
Housing Construction and Termination
The housing is molded from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), rated for the reflow temperatures of SMT headers if the assembly sees a secondary pass. The female socket cavities accept the AMPMODU crimp terminals (sold separately) — the crimp barrel grabs the stripped wire, and the socket beam wipes against the header pin on mate.
