Sealed 4-Position Plug for Harness Builds
The 2345394-2: It accepts female socket crimp contacts and terminates in-line, making it the field-serviceable connector for automotive, off-highway, and industrial harness assemblies that see moisture, spray, or washdown. The 5.00mm pitch is a power-grade spacing — wide enough to handle the creepage and clearance needed for the 120°C rated operating temperature without forcing a tight board footprint. The housing is black PA66 glass-filled, which holds dimensional stability under the heat and vibration of an engine bay or transmission tunnel.
Sealing and Retention in Vibration Environments
Two features make this housing suited for underhood and exposed harness runs: the sealing and the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) latch lock. The CPA latch lock provides a secondary lock that prevents accidental disconnect under vibration — a step beyond a simple friction latch. The -40°C to 120°C operating range covers cold-start and underhood heat soak. The glass-filled PA66 insulation material resists creep at the high end, so the latch and seal interfaces hold their geometry over thermal cycling.
