Its 11-position layout is split into 8 signal circuits and 3 power circuits, letting you route low-current control lines and a moderate-power feed through one connector body — a space saver compared to running separate signal and power connectors. The housing is black and uses a push-pull fastening system for quick mate and unmate without tools. Blind-mating capability is built in, which means the plug can be aligned and engaged without direct line of sight to the receptacle — useful in tight enclosures or behind panels where you cannot see the mating face. The crimp termination suits field assembly or automated harness production; each wire is terminated individually with the matching crimp contact (sold separately) and inserted into the housing.
Because the connector accepts discrete wires, you will need the correct crimp terminals for the signal and power cavities — the housing is keyed so a power terminal cannot be loaded into a signal position and vice versa. The free-hanging mount means no panel cutout is required; the plug simply floats in the harness, mating to a corresponding receptacle mounted on a panel or device. The push-pull latch holds the pair together but releases with a straight pull, so plan for cable strain relief external to the connector if the harness sees vibration or tugging.
