Contacts Are Ordered Separately — Plan the BOM Line
This is the most common sourcing miss on this part. You need to order the matching AMPMODU Mod II crimp socket terminals separately, typically the 1-87175-0 or 1-87175-1 series (0.100" pitch, 22-26 AWG). The housing accepts the standard AMPMODU female crimp contact that mates with the 0.025" square post on the header side. Budget the terminal order at the same time as the housing to avoid a partial BOM.
The 280362 mates with any AMPMODU Mod II 0.100" pitch unshrouded header, typically the 5-146256-1 or 5-146256-2 series in 10 positions. The locking ramp engages the header's latch slot — no secondary retention needed for most static installations. The housing is not keyed (no polarization rib), so the header must be oriented correctly during assembly.
