The 280610-2 is the 4-circuit member of TE's AMPMODU Mod I header line, a single-row shrouded header on 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch with gold-plated mating contacts. Rated for board-to-board or cable duty, it mounts through-hole with solder termination and carries a detent lock for positive retention in mated assemblies.
What the 0.156" pitch and 2-wall shroud mean for the fit
The 2-wall shroud and detent lock protect the mating pins from side-load damage and resist vibration-induced disconnect in panel or cable applications. Mating contact length is 0.394" (10.00mm), overall contact length 0.642" (16.30mm), with a 0.130" (3.30mm) post for through-hole solder.
