The 281739-8: The shrouded 2-wall housing with friction lock keeps the mating receptacle secure in moderate vibration environments — a step up from unshrouded headers that rely solely on friction. Rated for board-to-cable/wire applications, the header accepts a matching HE13/HE14 receptacle (crimp or IDC) to build a wire-to-board interconnect.

Mates with TE HE13/HE14 series receptacles (crimp or IDC, 16-position, 2-row). Termination is through-hole solder; the square pins are 0.276" (7.00mm) mating length and 0.114" (2.90mm) post length.
