What the 6.00 mm Pitch and Locking Ramp Mean for Your Harness
The 6.00 mm pitch is wider than typical signal connectors — it's sized to provide creepage distance for the sealed environment and to accommodate the tab contacts rated for the Superseal series' current range.
The 282104-1 is the 2-position receptacle in the Superseal series. The sibling 282104-2 is the same housing with a different keying feature — the difference is the position of the locking ramp or a polarisation rib, which prevents cross-mating in a multi-connector harness. If your harness uses only one connector type, either works; if you have multiple Superseal connectors in the same bundle, the keying difference matters to avoid mis-mating at the assembly line.
