Three-position plug with rising cage clamp
The 284046-3 is the 3-position member of TE's Buchanan plug line, a free-hanging female socket block with a single level of terminals.
M3 screw, 90° wire entry, retention latches
Wire enters at 90° to the plug axis, and a pair of retention latches on the wire side hold the mated pair against vibration — the same latch geometry used across the Buchanan family. The M3 screw and cage clamp are field-serviceable with a standard screwdriver; the plug can be re-pinned on site by loosening the screw, stripping fresh wire, and re-torquing to 0.79 Nm.
