The 2842103-6: The tin-plated solder tails (78.7 µinch) are compatible with standard SAC305 solder profiles. The UL94 V-0 thermoplastic insulation handles the temperature rise without flame propagation inside the equipment.
SMT Footprint and Automated Assembly
Surface-mount termination with a 0.059-inch (1.50 mm) insulation height keeps the z-height low for board-to-board stacking. The pick-and-place feature and Tape & Reel packaging (Cut Tape also available) enable automated assembly on standard SMT lines. The square male pins (0.157-inch mating length) provide a stable contact interface.
