As an unshrouded header, it mates with any 2.00 mm pitch receptacle that accepts a 0.64 mm square pin — common AMPMODU mates include the 2.00 mm pitch crimp socket housings and IDC receptacles. The push-pull fastening type means retention relies on the contact interference fit, not a latch; in vibration-prone environments, a secondary locking receptacle or board-level adhesive is recommended. The 0.157 inch (4.00 mm) mating pin length provides ample wipe for reliable contact with standard receptacles.
