The contact finish on the solder post is tin, 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm) thick — this wets well during wave soldering and provides a reliable joint through the hole.
Unshrouded — No Polarization
In a blind-mate or high-vibration environment, the push-pull fastening relies entirely on the friction of the contact beams; a mis-mated or partially seated connection can occur if the receptacle is not aligned by the assembler.
