The 2842126-5: That pitch is tighter than the older 0.100-inch standard but still leaves room for one trace between pads on a 2-layer board with 0.5mm trace/space rules. Unshrouded breakaway construction means you can snap the header to any even pin count from 2 to 10 — the 10-position strip ships as a single piece, and the snap grooves between each pair let you break it to the exact BOM length.
Current rating and plating trade-offs
The square pin profile (0.64mm typical for 2.00mm pitch) wets well and holds in the plated through-hole.
