2.00 mm Pitch, 16-Position Breakaway Header
The 2842131-8 is a 16-position, dual-row breakaway header from the TE Connectivity AMPMODU series. The unshrouded design allows the header to be snapped to any even circuit count from 2 to 16, which is useful when a BOM calls for a non-standard position count and the assembler depopulates the carrier. The through-hole solder tails are tin-plated (78.7 µinch) for reliable wave-solder wetting. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 125°C, covering automotive underhood and industrial cabinet environments without derating.

In a vibration environment, a secondary retention method (board lock or adhesive) should be considered. The header is supplied in a tube and includes a pick-and-place feature for automated assembly.
