12-position, 2.00 mm pitch breakaway header
2842142-6 is a 12-position, 2-row, 2.00 mm pitch unshrouded breakaway header from the TE AMPMODU series. The 2.00 mm pitch sets the board footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — at 2 A the temperature rise stays within the thermoplastic housing limit. SMT termination with pick-and-place features suits automated assembly.
Unshrouded push-pull header mates with standard 2.00 mm pitch receptacle housings. The 0.157" (4.00 mm) mating pin length provides reliable contact wipe. Row spacing is also 2.00 mm, so the footprint is symmetric. The 0.059" (1.50 mm) insulation height keeps the profile low for tight z-height budgets.
