What This 2.00mm Pitch Header Is For
Right-Angle Through-Hole Mounting
This is a through-hole, right-angle header. The pins exit the board parallel to the PCB surface, which is useful when you need to route the mating cable or board stack close to the main board — saves z-height compared to a vertical header. The mating pin is 0.157" long and the post is 0.110" long. That keeps the profile low but also means the mating receptacle needs to be aligned carefully; there's no shroud to guide it.
