The 292173-5: The detent lock provides audible feedback on mating, and the board guide plus solder retention features keep the part stable during reflow.
This header mates with TE CT series crimp receptacles — the matching housing accepts 20-24 AWG wire with the appropriate terminal. The right-angle body places the mating face perpendicular to the board edge, typical for wire-to-board connections in compact assemblies.
