Board-fit and footprint
The 292230-6: This is a 6-position, single-row SMD header from the TE Mini CT series. The surface-mount termination means no through-hole leads; the part sits flat on the board and reflows with the rest of the SMD pass. A board guide on the housing helps align the header during placement, which keeps the pins square to the pads before reflow.
A detent lock on the housing gives an audible click when the connector is fully seated; this is the primary retention against vibration and cable pull. The shroud also provides keying: the receptacle can only engage one way, so pin-one orientation is fixed at the board.
