Right-Angle 2mm Header for Board-to-Cable Routing
Its 2.00 mm pitch sets a tighter board footprint than the common 0.100" (2.54 mm) standard, which matters when you're routing traces between closely spaced pads on a dense PCB. The 0.228" (5.80 mm) insulation height gives the shroud room to protect the pins without eating into the keep-out zone for adjacent components. A full 4-wall shroud surrounds the male pins, which prevents bent pins during blind mating in a harness assembly.
Current Rating Depends on Your Wire Choice
The actual limit comes from the temperature rise in the tin-plated contact interface combined with the wire size you crimp into the mating receptacle terminal. For a given wire gauge, the per-contact current is derated by the 125VAC voltage rating and the UL94 V-0 nylon housing's thermal limits. The kinked, solder termination gives a positive mechanical lock in the plated through-hole before reflow, which helps with shear strength from cable strain on the right-angle tail.
