2.00 mm pitch, 8-position right-angle header for wire-to-board
The 292250-8 is a TE Connectivity CT series header — 8 circuits on a 2.00 mm pitch, through-hole right-angle, with a shrouded 4-wall housing that mates to a standard CT wire-to-board receptacle. The tin-plated male pins are square, and the detent lock provides positive retention against cable pull.
Board-edge fit: pitch, orientation, and lock
The 2.00 mm pitch sets the board footprint — each pin centre-to-centre spacing is 0.079", which is tighter than the older 0.100" headers. The detent lock is a small ramp on the shroud that clicks into the receptacle — it holds the pair mated under moderate vibration, but it is not a secondary TPA. For higher vibration environments, a CT receptacle with a locking latch would be the next step up.
