2.00 mm pitch, 6-position right-angle header for wire-to-board
The 292253-6 is a 6-position, single-row header from TE Connectivity's CT series, on a 2.00 mm pitch. It terminates through-hole with a right-angle orientation, so the mated cable runs parallel to the board — useful for low-profile enclosures where vertical clearance is tight. The 3-wall shrouding protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment, reducing the chance of bent pins during blind mating. A detent lock on the housing provides a positive mechanical retention against cable pull and vibration without needing a separate locking clip.
Mating halves and termination
This header mates with the CT series receptacle housings and uses the matching CT crimp terminals. The kinked-pin solder tails (0.126" post length) anchor into the plated through-holes and resist pull-out during wave soldering.
