The 292253-8: This is a 2.00 mm pitch, 8-position, single-row header from TE's CT series. It's a board-to-cable/wire style, meaning it's designed to mate with a crimp-to-wire receptacle housing, not another board. The 3-wall shrouding and detent lock protect against mis-mating and accidental disconnection in moderate-vibration environments. The tin-plated contacts are rated for general-purpose duty — not high-cycle or corrosive applications, but fine for most indoor equipment.
