The 3-641211-3: This is a 3-position, single-row, unshrouded header from TE's MTA-100 series, designed for board-to-wire connections. The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard MTA-100 receptacle family, making it a direct mate for IDC or crimp-style housings. The male pins are square, gold-plated on the mating surface (30.0µin) and tin-plated on the solder tails (150.0µin). Gold on the contact interface gives reliable low-level signal switching over repeated mate cycles; tin on the post keeps the solder joint cost-effective.
Mates with any MTA-100 receptacle housing (IDC or crimp type) at the same 0.100" pitch. The unshrouded design means no polarization keying – the board layout must provide orientation alignment. Through-hole solder termination, with a post length of 0.140" (3.56mm) for standard PCB thickness.
