7-Position MTA-156 Header with Friction Lock
It uses a 0.156" (3.96 mm) pitch, which sets the board footprint and the spacing for the mating MTA-156 receptacle.
Pitch, Positions, and Voltage Ceiling
The 0.156" (3.96 mm) pitch is a common MTA-156 standard, giving a per-contact current ceiling that varies with wire gauge — the header itself does not impose a fixed amp limit. The single-row layout keeps the wire bundle narrow, which helps in tight enclosures.
Mates with MTA-156 receptacle housings that accept 20-24 AWG wire with the matching crimp terminal. Termination is through-hole solder. The contact post length is 0.125" (3.18 mm), which fits standard 1.6 mm PCBs with enough protrusion for a reliable solder fillet.
