Board-to-wire header for tight spaces
Only 4 of the 5 positions are loaded with contacts — the empty position acts as a polarization key, preventing mis-mating with a 5-position receptacle.
This unshrouded header mates with MTA-100 series IDC receptacles and crimp-style housings that accept 0.100" pitch contacts. The right-angle pin orientation means the mating receptacle approaches parallel to the board — common for wire-to-board harnesses routed along the PCB edge. The 0.110" (2.79 mm) post length is designed for through-hole soldering on boards up to 1.6 mm thick.
No minimum order quantity is implied; availability varies by lot.
Thermal and mechanical limits
The insulation height of 0.092" (2.34 mm) is low-profile, keeping the header body close to the board surface. The natural (off-white) color is standard for the MTA-100 series.
