Terminal fit and wire prep
The TE Connectivity 3-770565-2 is a Mini Amp-In series wire-to-board terminal. It accepts 18-22 AWG wire, with an insulation diameter range of 0.060" to 1.52mm (1.52mm to 2.79mm) — strip and crimp to that spec for a full seat in the housing. The terminal is tin-plated phosphor bronze, rated for low-cycle, cost-sensitive connections where repeated mating is not expected.
Through-board, locking terminal type — the barbed feature grabs the PCB hole (0.072" to 0.077" or 1.83mm to 1.96mm diameter) and holds the terminal in place before soldering. Overall length is 0.220" (5.59mm), so verify board clearance and mating housing depth before committing the BOM.
