The 3-794628-4 is a 4-position, 2-row header from TE's Micro MATE-N-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. Its 3.00mm pitch sets the PCB footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — the current rating varies by wire gauge, so the limiting factor is the terminal and wire, not the header itself. Right-angle SMT orientation places the mating interface parallel to the board, useful for low-profile cable exits at the board edge. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the male pins from damage during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment. The solder tails are tin-plated for reliable solder joint formation.
